Who We Are
Winealyse is developing new technology to test analytes in wine, replacing old-school laboratories with state-of-the-art Lab-on-a-Chip devices. Stemming from novel research at the University of Canterbury and a collaboration with the New Zealand Winegrowers organisation, Winealyse will revolutionise the wine testing industry, leading to more efficient winemaking and higher quality wines. The team behind Winealyse have decades of experience in Science, Engineering, and Wine.
What We Do
At Winealyse, we are combining world-class science and engineering from the University of Canterbury with the wine expertise of the Bragato Research Institute. We use capillary microfluidic technology to create new testing devices for the wine industry. Our devices are faster, cheaper, and easier to use than traditional methods, making winemaking more efficient and allowing for higher quality wines.
